About Echo Ridge Guiding Services
Echo Ridge Guiding Services is a small big game hunting operation owned and operated by myself, Ron Bergem.
I began guiding in 1990 and started Echo Ridge outfitting in the fall of 2003. Hunting is my passion and I have taken many Boone and Crocket animals. I am an avid outdoorsman spending much time hunting, fishing, as well exploring new hunting territory. I am a member of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society.
As mentioned earlier, I am an avid hunter, who has hunted all of his life. I guide all of the hunts myself. If needed, I can also use the assistance of some of the best and most experiences guides available, if one on one hunts are requested.
I provide personalized hunts for White Tailed Deer, Mule Deer, and Moose, and spring Black Bear.
My goal is to provide good quality hunts, and I strive to deliver fine trophies for all my clients. I look forward to discussing every aspect of the hunts to ensure that you have a great and memorable hunt.

The season of 2007 produced the best horn growth I have ever seen. The recent good winter and wolf control resulted in low winter kill in my range. The 2008 winter has had some cold snaps and some areas had deep snow but we are optimistic on another great year with high deer populations. The upcoming season has the makings to be the best yet. Congrats to Joe from Lousianna who after hours of waiting and walking, finally got his first Alberta Mule Deer Buck, as well as his biggest Alberta White tail to date.
